Registration is free and requires a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the activity carried out through your account. Each account is personal and non-transferable.
Character sheets, recaps and answers are generated by artificial intelligence models and may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies. The "spoiler boundary" (answering only up to your declared reading position) is a best-effort commitment with a deliberately conservative design, but because it relies on AI it cannot be absolutely guaranteed in one hundred percent of cases. The quality of the answers also depends on the position you declare and on how well the model knows the work; when the model does not know the book, the service relies on what you record.
You agree to use the service in accordance with the law. In particular: (a) you may not use it to reproduce, distribute or systematically extract the text of protected works; (b) you may not use it for unlawful activities or to infringe the rights of third parties; (c) you may not resell the service or access it through unauthorized automated means. A breach allows the immediate suspension of the account.
The Free plan includes unlimited books and sagas with all features and 300 KaiCoins per month, with no time limit and no card required. The Reader plan (binding Spanish name: "Lector") costs US$ 1.99 per month or US$ 19.90 per year and includes 1,500 KaiCoins per month and advanced reading statistics. The annual payment is equivalent to 10 months (2 months free). Prices may change in the future; the applicable price is the one in effect at the time of purchase. The current limits are published on the pricing page. Those who purchased the Early Adopter plan (US$ 9.99 per year) keep their already-paid year as the Reader plan until its expiration date, with no new charge, with unlimited books and 1,500 KaiCoins per month.
Payment for the Reader plan is processed online through the dLocal Go payment gateway, a product of the company dLocal (hosted checkout): we do not store card data. The plan is activated automatically once payment is confirmed, with a term of one month or one year depending on the period purchased; a renewal adds that period to the current expiration date. Both cycles, monthly and annual, can be purchased in two ways. (a) As a card subscription: it renews automatically at the end of each period (every month on the monthly cycle and every twelve months on the annual cycle) and is charged at the price in effect at the time of each renewal, which may not be the one paid at sign-up; the subscription stays active until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from the Plans section of your account: cancelling stops future renewals, and the period you already paid for is honored in full until its expiration. (b) As a one-time payment for one month or one year, which does not renew automatically and does not generate recurring charges: it is the route for payment methods that do not support recurring charges (PSE, Nequi, cash). A discount applied at sign-up covers only the first period; renewals are charged at the price in effect at that time. If the plan expires, you keep your data and your account returns to the scope of the Free plan (your library stays intact; only the monthly KaiCoins allowance changes). Alternatively, payment can also be arranged by email (loresafe@kaistrategylab.com) with manual activation.
Your notes, theories, characters and reading records are yours and are private. You grant us only the technical license necessary to store and process them in order to provide the service to you (including sending them to the AI models to generate your answers). You can delete books or your account whenever you wish.
The service is provided "as is", with reasonable availability efforts. It depends on external providers (AI models, infrastructure) whose outages may affect it. We may update features, prices and these terms; substantial changes will be announced on the site or by email.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the provider's total liability towards a customer is limited to the amount actually paid by that customer in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages or for the accidental disclosure of details of a work resulting from the inherent limitations of AI described in section 3.
These terms are governed by the laws of Colombia and any dispute will be resolved before the Colombian courts.
If you are contracting as a consumer from another country, the above does not deprive you of the protection afforded by the mandatory rules of your country of residence: you keep the rights those rules grant you that cannot be excluded by agreement.
